A very emotional trip down memory lane!!
A tribute to a fallen hero and heroes in the "bush war"
WE SALUTE YOU!!!!
The build was very straight forward until I got to where the client needed some changes.
1. Browning through the passenger window.
2. Top side needed a "Aapkas" So the whole front top was changed.
3. 20 mm gun added
4. As this Casspir was a command vehicle it had to have 3 aerials as well as a "gps"

Ready for shipping
Just before packing for shipping. Luckily a friend will take it all the way from Pretoria down to Cape town - Malmesbury to be precise.
Everything went according to plan. Took to work, handed it over to the friend, on the plane, friend handed it over to courier guy and all the way to the client. Client received it in one piece, but then disaster struck on the way home. Lady didn't stop at stop sign and collided with client. Client, wife and dog fine, but model in pieces.
Planning and scheming started. Long story short client decided to fly me down to Malmesbury to fix model and take another completed model ( SAAF Puma) down .
